Professor Derong Liu recently received a $300,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for the next three years. This grant is in support to his study on “Control and Management Problems in CDMA Cellular Networks” which has been supported in the past few years by the NSF CAREER program.

Professor Derong Liu recently published a book entitled “Qualitative Analysis and Synthesis of Recurrent Neural Networks.” The book is coauthored with Anthony N. Michel from the University of Notre Dame and is published by Marcel Dekker, New York (2002, ISBN: 0-8247-0767-2).
