I got this picture from

This is not the picture of our van but similar except for the color. The
color of our van is gray. My van is a 1989
Ford Aerostar. We bought
the car used on June 25, 1994. I remember the date correctly beccause we
bought it the day of my grammer school graduation party. We bought it for
about $4,000. The reason we bought the van was so that the family can
go somewhere together. We have had it for 4 years now. The van is
still in pretty good condition, although we did do some work to it.
Some of the things that we did was putting a new radiator, alternator,
heater coil, and other minor things. We drove this car one winter without
any heating. It was during the time when temperature dropped to 27
degrees below zero. After that, we decided to put heating on it, because
we couldn't suffer the cold.
The first trip that we went on was to Holy Hill in Wisconsin. If you
don't know what Holy Hill is, it is a place in Wisconsin that has a big
church on top of a hill. It was a fun trip since the whole family was
toghther. At that time there was 6 of us in the family and there was a
lot of space for everyone to travel together. We got back home safely
without any problems.
The second trip that we took was to Wisconsin Dells. After that trip we
didn't take the van for any more long trips, not because there was
something wrong with it, but because everyone got older, had to work and
couldn't get off of work at the same time to go on a trip.
Right now we still have the van, but we mainly use it to deliver food for
the restaurant Banana Leaf.
Inside, the van smells like food, but since we only use it to
deliver food it's okay. My father is the one that drives the van the
most. He takes care of the van really good.
