This custom first debuted at Wicked Force Customs and is my first attempt at a vintage custom since I was a kid when I put broken figures back together in odd combinations like I did with my Unknown Lizard Dude. I made this vintage Wedge after receiving a beat up X-Wing Luke and decided he needed to be cleaned up.
I was able to remove all of the smudges and marks off the orange flightsuit so it didn't need to be repainted, the orange itself was still surprisingly vibrant. The helmet was painted to match Wedge's from the X-Wing comics, the orange thing sticking partially out of the helmet is the visor. The hands and face were repainted flesh tone and new eyes were given. The flak vest and leg bands were repainted white, while the belt and chest box were painted grey. Details were added to the chestbox such as silver switches and black straps. The boots were repainted black and the leg bandolier was painted black with silver highlights.
Overall, an effective repaint/detail and now Wedge stands ready to help my vintage Rebel figures save the galaxy!
