As seen on the

Thirty-two years before the Battle of Yavin and at a time where Palpatine's Empire did not exist, the Galactic Republic was governed by a Senate which mandated the laws which the galaxy ran by. Different senators represented different groups, some represented single planets, others entire sectors, and still others represented consortiums such as the Trade Federation. This particular gent, Shraxen is the representative of the planet Falleen.
During the time of the Trade Federation's blockade of Naboo, Shraxen was Falleen's newest representative to the Galactic Senate. Years of training on Falleen, learning how to play the political game, Shraxen was quick to fit in with his fellow senators. He quickly was able to manipulate several senators to back him whenever he spoke in the Senate halls. Though many guessed about the Falleen's ability to get what he wanted, Shraxen was able to hide his duplicity by acting in front of big crowds as nothing more than an amateur bureaucrat from a backwater world. Shraxen went so far as to dress outlandishly, so as to solidify the deception.
After Chancellor Palpatine began to take more and more control of the Republic, Shraxen knew that he could only get so far in his political maneuverings unless he aligned himself with Palpatine. However, he was rebuffed and sent back to his homeworld, where he spent the remainder of his life plotting on a way to take control of Falleen. Some ten years before the Battle of Endor, Shraxen was killed when the city he lived in, was destroyed by Darth Vader who was attempting to sterilize a mutated disease that had gotten loose.
This figure was made for two reasons, 1.) to have a 3rd entry in FFURG's Galactic Senate Casting Call and 2.) to finally get rid of the damn Xizor fodder parts I had for 4 years. The figure utilized the head, hands, and legs from Xizor, along with the torso and cape of Bespin Lando and the arms of Senator Palpatine. The head had its hair removed and along with the hands were painted a dark olive green. The hands then were attached to the arms, which along with the torso were painted red. Putting all the parts together and adding the cape which was repainted on the outside with a dark purple, this fodder filler is complete!
