Thirty-two years before the Battle of Yavin and at a time where Palpatine's Empire did not exist, the Galactic Republic was governed by a Senate which mandated the laws which the galaxy ran by. Different senators represented different groups, some represented single planets, others entire sectors, and still others represented consortiums such as the Trade Federation. But the senators could not get through a day's work without the help of their trusty aides. This is Nisa Antilles, the aide for Corellian Senator Jord Calmon.
Nisa Antilles grew up in the lap of luxury in Coronet City, the largest city on Corellia. She went to all the finest schools available and was groomed for the political world at an early age. When she reached the age of 18 she was picked to become the aide to Corellia's new representative to the Galactic Senate, Jord Calmon. From that time on, Nisa has always been at Jord's side, assisting him in reviewing materials necessary for senate meetings, scheduling meetings with representatives across the galaxy, and as the senator became paranoid of assassination attempts against him she helped physically protect him even though she would constantly tell Calmon that there were no such attempts. When Calmon fell in line with Chancellor Palpatine and Nisa realized the potential chaos Palpatine was bringing forth, she left her post and was not heard from again. Later rumors had her assisting the infamous Corellian General Garm Bel Ibis in his attempts to defeat Palpatine's Empire.
Nisa Antilles is the first in a series of what I call FFURG premiers, being that she first appeared on FFURG before showing up here on my site. She was made for the FFURG Galactic Senate Casting Call for February 2001. This CC was a continuation of the 100th COTW that was celebrated in December 2000 and is a conglomeration of different customizer's interpretation of on-screen and off-screen senators from the Senate scenes in Episode 1 and I was happy to supply an entrant. Nisa Antilles is made from a Queen Amidala who's body has been repainted purple with gold trim and has had a Boushh Leia head, hair painted black, added. Nisa Antilles is in no way related to Wedge Antilles, as Antilles is a common name in the SW galaxy, kinda like Smith.
