Corran Horn in X-Wing Pilot Gear

When Wedge Antilles reformed the Rebel Alliance's elite fighter group, Rogue Squadron, one of first new recruits was a former officer of the Corellian Security Force, Corran Horn. Corran's tactics were as unorthodox as those of past Rogue pilots. It was just not his tactics and skills that Corran brought to Rogue Squadron, but his own CorSec T-65 X-Wing Fighter, his astromech droid Whistler, and his own pilot's gear, all in the green and black color scheme of CorSec. Corran was a member of Rogue Squadron for over a decade, taking part in major battles across the galaxy such as those as at Coruscant, Thyferra, & Bilbringi. When he retired from the squadron he had been of the New Republic military rank of Colonel, but now has an even more important rank, that of Jedi Knight.

My 3rd Corran Horn custom was a long time in coming, but once I got my hands on a Biggs Darklighter the time was right to make this figure. I removed the head off of Biggs and painted all the orange clothing, green as described in the X-Wing novels, and partially shown in the X-Wing comic, Family Ties. The flight straps which were originally gray and the flak vest were painted a matching flat white, the belt a flat black. I used the head of Dash Rendar for Corran's head. I painted the hair a dark brown and added a dab of green to the eyes. For accessories, I added the standard Blastech hand blaster, a lightsaber hilt from one of the E1 accessory packs which is glued to the belt, and the helmet from a Blastshield Luke. The helmet has green and black decals painted on it and I plan in the future to add a visor and mic headset to the helmet.

Well as you can see I updated the figure by giving him a brand new helmet. Its a Wedge Antilles helmet from the Rebel Pilots Cinema Scene. I just swapped helmets to give Corran a visor, I repainted the helmet in the same design as the previous helmet.
