Joanna Zamiechowska
Electrical Engineering - Minor in Math and Physics
Expected Graduation - December 08
STATEMENT:
I want to be an engineer to better the human condition and make my sci-fi fantasies come true. I'm also
interested in photovoltaics and electronics on the nano scale. I work as an energy consultant with the Industrial Assessment Center. I
don't know what I do in my free time because I haven't had any in so long, but when I can I like to play guitar, visit museums and shows,
travel, bike, read, etc. I'm currently reading Moby Dick after a philosophy teacher recommended it and I think it's my new favorite
book. The whale represents ultimate reality, by the way.

Zeshun Cai, "Z"
Electrical Engineering
Expected Graduation - 2010
STATEMENT:
I am majored in EE and hopefully be able to graduate within 3 years,
around 2010. What do I like? I pretty much like to mess around with
everything. I played sports, I love eating different types of food, I like
racing and of course sleeping. Although I love watching pro sports, I just
can't stand the amount of money those dudes are making!!! You know what am
I talking about right? : America believes in education: the average
professor earns more money in a year than a professional athlete earns in
a whole week. LOL.....

Adam Ahrens
Electrical Engineering
Expected Graduation - December 2009
STATEMENT:
I am a Navy Veteran with Industrial
Electrical experience on an Aircraft Carrier. I am interested in
Power and Energy Engineering,(real Electrical Engineering), which this
University needs to offer more courses involving this area of EE.
With energy demands increasing and resources decreasing, there is a
broad field or research and devlopment that must be done. I play
competitive volleyball, love skiing, and play softball, football,
soccer, basketball, and just about any other sport leisurely. Go
Cubs!!! I currently am a co-op student for the VA, working as a
Computer Data Center Electrical Engineer, at Hines VA Hospital, west
of Chicago.
