The Power Electronics Lab is located in 3293 SEL. All four lab stations are equipped with a 300MHz digital phosphor oscilloscope, current probe amplifier, digital multimeter, AC power analyzer, four quadrant speed controller, variable frequency drive, SCR controller, and 1/3 HP accessories. Experiments explore single phase and three phase diode bridge rectifiers, three phase thyristor bridge rectifiers, single phase and three phase thyristor AC controllers, active power factor control, four quadrant DC drive, variable frequency AC motor drive.
