ECE420
The Microwave Engineering lab is located in 4255 SEL. Each of the six lab stations contain a 8GHz-12GHz signal generator, SWR meter, power meter, 100MHz oscilloscope, slotted line, and a wide variety of X-Band wave guide components. The lab is also equipped with two network analyzers. Student groups rotate through these ANA stations to perform several experiments. Experiments emphasize measurements of frequency and wavelength, reflex klystron mode characteristics, VSWR, reflection coefficient, microwave power, directional couplers, impedance, impedance matching techniques, and series, shunt and hybrid tees.
