Reading your mails
You can use Mail, Elm or PINE, but IMHO you'd be a damn
fool to use the former two. Therefore henceforth we'll only be discussing
how to use this fabulous PINE (PINE Is Not Elm) mailer.
At the Unix prompt merely type
pine
The rest you can basically figure out from the self-explanatory
menu items.
Steps of becoming a PINE literate individual:
-
For a jumpstart, ask the consultant on duty.
-
For a deeper knowledge, read the whole document that pops
up when you hit Enter on the
? HELP - Get help using Pine
line of the MAIN MENU.
-
For further details regarding each screen, hit
Ctrl-Geverywhere,
or ? virtually everywhere
(wherever no text input occurs) in PINE.
-
Finally, if you'd like to be a PINE-guru, you can check
out the PINE Information Center webpage at
