Installed Plugins

Plugins are mainly user-contributed add-ons that enhance and extend TWiki features and capabilities. A limited number of plugins are included in the core TWiki distribution - and any of those can be removed - while the rest are optional, available from TWiki:Plugins.PluginPackage.

Here is a list of the plugins currently installed and enabled on this TWiki site:

  • SpreadSheetPlugin (2010-05-22, $Rev: 18825 (2010-05-29) $): Add spreadsheet calculation like "$SUM( $ABOVE() )" to TWiki tables and other topic text
  • BibtexPlugin (1.5, $Rev: 16333 (12 Dec 2008) $): Embeds BibTeX entries in a TWiki page
  • CommentPlugin (2010-05-16, $Rev: 18706 (2010-05-29) $): Allows users to quickly post comments to a page without an edit/preview/save cycle
  • DpSyntaxHighlighterPlugin (2011-01-17, $Rev: 20264 (2011-01-17) $): Client side syntax highlighting using the dp.SyntaxHighlighter
  • EditTablePlugin (5.1, $Rev: 18808 (2010-05-29) $): Edit TWiki tables using edit fields, date pickers and drop down boxes
  • EmbedFlashPlugin (1.2.1, $Rev: 16753 (12 Dec 2008) $): Embeds an Adobe Flash file
  • HeadlinesPlugin (2.6, $Rev: 18707 (2010-05-29) $): Show headline news in TWiki pages based on RSS and ATOM news feeds from external sites
  • HtmlMetaPlugin (2010-11-09, $Rev: 19784 (2010-11-09) $): Insert HTML "meta name" entries into html header
  • InterwikiPlugin (2010-05-15, $Rev: 18695 (2010-05-29) $): Link ExternalSite:Page text to external sites based on aliases defined in a rules topic
  • JQueryPlugin (1.1 (2010-04-15), $Rev: 18531 (2010-05-29) $): jQuery JavaScript library for TWiki
  • MathModePlugin (2.98, $Rev: 22375 (2011-10-17) $): Add math formulas to TWiki topics using LaTeX markup language
  • ObjectPlugin (2010-08-29, $Rev: 19389 (2010-08-29) $): Embed multi-media Objects into TWiki topics
  • PreferencesPlugin (2010-05-15, $Rev: 18690 (2010-05-29) $): Allows editing of preferences using fields predefined in a form
  • RedirectPlugin (2011-07-15, $Rev: 21746 (2011-07-15) $): Create a redirect to another topic or website
  • ShareMePlugin (TWiki, 2010-06-06 (18927)): Icon bar to share a TWiki page on popular social media sites such as Facebook, StumbleUpon , Twitter
  • SlideShowPlugin (2010-05-16, $Rev: 18712 (2010-05-29) $): Create web based presentations based on topics with headings.
  • SmiliesPlugin (2010-05-15, $Rev: 18698 (2010-05-29) $): Render smilies as icons, like smile for  :-) or eek! for  :eek:
  • SyntaxHighlightingPlugin: (disabled)
  • TablePlugin (1.2, $Rev: 18714 (2010-05-29) $): Control attributes of tables and sorting of table columns
  • TagMePlugin (2010-05-26, 1.6): Tag wiki content collectively to find content by keywords
  • TinyMCEPlugin (2010-04-24, $Rev: 18853 (2010-05-29) $): Integration of TinyMCE with WysiwygPlugin
  • TwistyPlugin (1.6, $Rev: 18716 (2010-05-29) $): Twisty section JavaScript library to open/close content dynamically
  • WysiwygPlugin (2010-05-17, $Rev: 18717 (2010-05-29) $): Translator framework for Wysiwyg editors

Administrators can enable and disable plugins using Wrench configure.
